But isn't it only fair that Batman's rogues gallery be represented as well. Selina's role could involve her conning her way into Bruce's life, only to steal something valuable for Luthor - documents, passwords, artifacts - you name it. Perhaps that would rehash the events of The Dark Knight Rises a bit too much, but it all depends on the execution. Superman offers an almost insurmountable challenge, but his mental resistance against Ivy's mind-control gives Batman just enough of an edge to possibly win the day. That's something Grant Morrison added to the Batman mythos when he created Jezebel Jet. Her name alone is classic Bond, as is her exotic appearance half-Scottish, half-African princess. As a social activist and talented athlete, she would be more than just eye candy on the arm of Bruce Wayne in this movie. Of course, there's much more to Jezebel than even that. She was eventually revealed to be a member of the Black Glove, a secret cabal of wealthy villains secretly manipulating Batman's life. Perhaps Luthor could be shown to be a member of the Black Glove in this movie. However, if Jezebel is utilized, we'd rather see the bulk of the Black Glove storyline saved for a solo Batman movie. Diana Prince As cool as the idea of Batman and Superman finally teaming up on the big screen is, we've already seen these two heroes in Hollywood a number of times. We have little doubt Man of Steel 2 will begin teasing other heroes and famous locales, but why not go big right out of the gate. As with Sasha Bordeaux, the fact that the casting call emphasizes a tall, 20-something woman with physicality certainly brings to mind this athletic Amazon princess. We're not necessarily advocating that Wonder Woman play a starring role or actually don her unbreakable gauntlets and lasso in this movie. We'd be content with her appearing in her civilian guise as Diana Prince. If the movie revolves around Bruce investigating Superman's emergence and the growing lineup of costumed heroes across the world, then maybe Diana is someone who already joined his crusade. She could hide in plain sight, with a last-minute reveal paving the way for a larger Justice League film down the line.
